Chill-Out Terrace
In 2018, La Taverna del Mar incorporated a chill-out terrace facing the bay of S’Agaró. It is open from dusk until dawn, both for the establishment’s clients and for the general public, an ideal spot for those looking to enjoy an oasis on Sant Pol beach. A space that offers a varied menu of classic cocktails, wines, cavas and champagnes.
The terrace has comfortable sofas with low tables and poufs from where you can enjoy exceptional views of the sea. The furniture, with a modern design in keeping with the interior of the restaurant in shades of white and navy blue, is distributed throughout the entire terrace on the sand of the beach.
Javier de las Muelas is a renowned leader in the world of cocktails. He is the owner and manager of cocktail bars in Barcelona, Madrid, San Sebastián, Singapore, Hangzhou, Sorrento and Sant Luis Potosí among others. His philosophy is to create unique experiences taking care of the sensations through genuine products within the world of gastronomy. His commitment to mixing tradition, class and elegance, with innovation and intelligent creativity, is the hallmark that characterizes him.
Javier de las Muelas and his team have prepared for this season a menu of specialties with recreations of the classics of international cocktails, their well-known signature cocktails -combined with signature recipes-, fresh fruit martinis, mojitos, pitchers, champagne cocktails and alcohol-free proposals like the one dedicated to La Gavina that bears his name.

The new private terrace of La Taverna del Mar de S’Agaró
The Ensesa Viñas family, owner of La Taverna del Mar, opened the Club Taverna in 2021, a privileged terrace in the bay of Sant Pol de S’Agaró. Open from dusk until dawn, the privée of the establishment – located at the top of the restaurant – , becomes a stage to contemplate the spectacular views of the sea and relax with a drink. The Club, which is accessible only by reservation, is designed to enjoy a pleasant table or to privatize the space for private events.
Decorated with low tables and poufs in shades of white and red, this exclusive outdoor terrace includes a bottle of Forget-Brimont Vintage 2009 Brut Premier Cru champagne. And it offers chill-out music and an extensive menu with the best brands of spirits and Dry Martini cocktails by Javier de las Muelas, also with non-alcoholic proposals -such as the one dedicated to La Gavina that bears his name.
